The Fight: Mini Reivew

Since we were at E3 this year again, We will be giving our two cents on this title. Basically my hands on Mini review since I don’t own the game just yet. But I will say this, it was fun but…

The Fight, is a pretty good game with some issues to point out. Well first lets talk about what this game does well.
It delivers on the idea that punching at the TV could be enjoyable and somewhat accurate.

The Graphics are really good and it reminded me of playing EA’s Flagship boxing title but using the Move controllers. So on a side note, that’s prob. what EA will do too.

The sounds score is well, I can’t say because at e3 its loud and I couldn’t really hear much.
The Controls are what you really want to hear about anyway, so here I go:
They are pretty good but it doesn’t come without some issues when playing. The motion of your punch is slow and it doesn’t feel like a hard enough impact to make me feel as if I’m knocking this guy out. The swing feels lite, feather like and when it lands it look as if it only brushes the enemies face. I think they should speed up the animations a bit and use a little camera shake when the attack lands. It would help with the overall effect.

The Move controller is great and it reads very well. Of course they say its the WII HD, but really its just a better controller in many respects. From accuracy to comfort. When holding both Move Controllers of courser when you put your arms up, the Avatar (Character on Screen) puts its arms up or down based on your movements. It works as it  should.

Would I buy this game, yeah sure, not for 60.00 US but for a lower intro game type price yeah sure. Throw in some interesting fighting modes and maybe some online fighting, I could see a 39.99 purchase. This is coming from the cheapest guy on the planet regarding buying games, but yeah 40 bucks sure why not. Your paying for a experience kinda like a ride without going to Knotts Berry Farm, give it a try.
